A note on authenticity

Our Etsy digital files are licensed strictly for personal, non-commercial use. Occasionally, unauthorized third-party sellers use our art to print and sell physical copies on other marketplaces.

Because these editions are produced entirely outside our control, we cannot guarantee their print resolution, paper standards, or binding quality. To ensure you receive the true Komfi Kat experience, we always recommend ordering directly through our official links.

How can I check shipping availability?

Our full-length coloring books come in a square 8.5 × 8.5 inch (216 × 216 mm) format.

This size gives you plenty of room to enjoy the details of each illustration while keeping the book comfortable to hold, color, and store.

The same page size is used across our Paperback, Spiral-Bound, and Hardcover editions, although the overall dimensions may vary slightly depending on the binding.

The cover finish depends on the edition you choose:

• Paperback (Amazon & Lulu): A glossy finish that brings out the colors and details of our cover illustrations.
• Spiral-Bound (Lulu): A glossy cover with a flexible plastic coil binding.
• Hardcover (Lulu): A matte case-wrap finish with a sturdy, rigid cover.

If you're looking for a classic coloring book, our glossy paperback editions are a great choice. If you prefer something more substantial for gifting or keeping on your bookshelf, our matte hardcover offers a different look and feel.

Yes! The coloring pages in our printed books are single-sided, with each illustration printed on one side of the sheet and the reverse left blank.

Alcohol markers can still bleed through the paper. We recommend placing a protective sheet, such as the Silicone Bleed-Through Protection Mat (paid link), behind the page you're coloring to help protect the pages underneath.

Our printed coloring books use white, uncoated paper. The paper weight depends on the printing partner:

• Amazon (Paperback): Approximately 55 lb (82 gsm). Paper stock can vary between printing locations and production runs.
• Lulu (Paperback, Hardcover & Spiral-Bound): 60 lb (89 gsm) white, uncoated paper.

Alcohol markers can bleed through this paper, so we recommend placing a protective sheet, such as the Silicone Bleed-Through Protection Mat (paid link), behind the page you're coloring. Always test a new pen or marker before using it on an illustration.

Our physical coloring books are produced using print-on-demand (POD). Rather than keeping large quantities of books in stock, our printing partners typically print and bind each copy after an order is placed.

This means your total delivery time includes two stages: printing your book and shipping it to your address.

Here's what to expect depending on where you order:

Amazon (Paperback)

• Printing & Preparation: Amazon typically takes around 2–5 business days to print and prepare your book for shipment.
• Shipping: Delivery times depend on your location and the available shipping options. In the US, standard shipping often takes approximately 4–5 additional business days, although actual estimates may vary.
• A little tip for Amazon shoppers: If you have Amazon Prime, eligible orders may qualify for faster, free delivery, often without a minimum purchase amount. Just keep in mind that Prime benefits depend on your location and the specific offer, and they don't speed up the printing process. Lulu (Paperback, Hardcover & Spiral-Bound)

• Printing & Preparation: Lulu typically takes 3–5 business days to print and prepare your book. Hardcover editions may require additional production time due to their binding process.
• Shipping: Lulu offers several shipping options depending on your country. Faster delivery methods may cost more but can shorten transit time, while more affordable options generally take longer. You can compare the available methods and estimated costs at checkout.

Getting the most accurate delivery estimate

Please remember that these are estimates, and busy holiday periods, international customs processing, or unexpected carrier delays can occasionally extend delivery times.

Ordering as a gift?

We recommend placing your order a little early to allow enough time for both printing and delivery, so your coloring book arrives in time for the occasion!

2. Find your Komfi Kat coloring book.
3. Select Track package to view the latest delivery updates and tracking information, when available.

Lulu (Paperback, Hardcover & Spiral-Bound)

If you have a Lulu account, sign in and visit Order History to check your order status.

If you ordered as a guest, you can use Lulu's Order Lookup page. Simply enter your order number and the email address used at checkout.

Once your order ships, Lulu will send you a shipping confirmation email. If your selected shipping method includes tracking, the email will also contain a tracking link.

Please note that some economy or international shipping methods may not include detailed tracking. Tracking updates can also take a little time to appear after shipment.

That depends on your country and where your coloring book is shipped from.

Since our physical editions are printed and delivered through Amazon and Lulu, some international orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or other customs-related charges.

These fees are determined by the customs and tax regulations of your destination country, not by Komfi Kat.

Depending on the order, some applicable taxes or import charges may already be collected at checkout. In other cases, additional fees may be collected by your local customs authority or delivery carrier when the package arrives.

If you purchased using an Etsy account:

1. Open Etsy.com in your web browser and sign in.
2. Go to Your Account → Purchases and Reviews.
3. Find your Komfi Kat order and select Download Files.
4. Save the files to your computer, tablet, or another device.

If you checked out as a guest:

You'll receive an Etsy order confirmation email containing a link to your digital files. Simply follow the link to access your purchase.

A quick tip for iPad and mobile users:

The Etsy app doesn't currently support downloading digital purchases. Please use Safari, Chrome, or another web browser instead.

You can also return to your Etsy purchases to download your files again whenever you need them, as long as the order remains accessible in your account.

Our digital coloring pages are easy to use in drawing apps that support PNG images. For the most convenient experience, we recommend starting with our transparent-background PNG files, which let you color on separate layers while keeping the original line art untouched.

Coloring individual PNG pages in Procreate (iPad)

1. Download your Komfi Kat files from Etsy and save them to your iPad.
2. Open Procreate, tap Import in the Gallery, and select the PNG page you'd like to color.
3. Open the Layers panel and tap the + button to create a new blank layer.
4. Move your new layer below the original line art.
5. Select the blank layer and start coloring! Your outlines will remain visible above your colors.

You can create additional layers for shading, textures, and other details without changing the original illustration.

Prefer using our white-background PNG files?

Those work too! Simply change the original line-art layer's blending mode from Normal (N) to Multiply, then color on a separate layer underneath it. This allows your colors to show through the white areas while keeping the black outlines visible.

Want to color directly from the full-book PDF?

You can do that in Procreate too!

1. Open Procreate's Gallery, tap Import, and select your downloaded PDF.
2. Procreate will open the book in Page Assist, allowing you to navigate between pages using the thumbnails at the bottom.
3. Choose the page you'd like to color and create a new blank layer in the Layers panel.
4. Select both the new layer and your chosen coloring page layer by swiping right across the other layer.
5. Tap Group to keep both layers together as a single page.
6. Inside the group, move your blank coloring layer beneath the original artwork, select it, and start coloring.

A little tip: You only need to group the illustration you're currently coloring with its new layer, not every page in the book.

If you prefer working on one illustration at a time, our individual PNG files offer a simpler setup.

Want to keep your colors inside the lines?

Procreate has a handy feature called Reference.

Tap the original line-art layer's thumbnail and select Reference. You can then use ColorDrop to fill enclosed areas on a separate coloring layer while keeping the original outlines untouched.

For more detailed coloring with brushes, Procreate's Automatic Selection tool can also help you select specific areas before adding color.

Using an Android tablet?

Our PNG coloring pages can also be imported into compatible Android drawing apps, such as HiPaint.

The exact steps may vary depending on your app, but the general process is similar: import your illustration, create separate coloring layers, and start bringing your page to life!

Here are a few things to consider:

• Colored pencils: Paper with a little texture can help you build up color and blend layers.
• Water-based markers: Smooth, thicker paper can help reduce excessive ink absorption and feathering.
• Alcohol-based markers: Even heavy paper may allow ink to bleed through, so we always recommend placing a protective sheet underneath your coloring page.

We recommend testing a sheet with your favorite supplies before printing an entire book.

We want every Komfi Kat coloring book to arrive in great condition! If your copy arrives damaged or you notice a printing or binding issue, don't worry — our printing partners have procedures in place to help resolve these problems.

Since our physical editions are printed and shipped by Amazon and Lulu, the best first step is to contact the platform where you placed your order.

Amazon (Paperback)

If you ordered through Amazon, here's what to do:

1. Go to Your Orders in the Amazon marketplace or app where you made your purchase.
2. Find your Komfi Kat coloring book and select Return or replace items.
3. Choose the reason that best describes the issue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Depending on your order, Amazon may offer a replacement copy or a refund. If you'd prefer a replacement, you can select that option when available.

Amazon may ask you to return the original copy as part of the process. If you don't see a replacement option or need additional assistance, you can contact Amazon Customer Service directly.

For confirmed manufacturing defects, such as damaged pages, missing or misprinted content, or faulty binding, Lulu can arrange a replacement copy.

If you spot something that seems wrong with the original illustration or page layout, rather than the physical printing, please let us know at care@komfikat.com.

Include the coloring book title and, if possible, a photo of the issue so we can take a closer look.

No. Every Komfi Kat coloring page is 100% hand-drawn by us, from the very first sketch to the finished line art. We’ve made a conscious choice not to use AI-generated artwork in our coloring books.

We believe a coloring book should be more than just a collection of pictures. We want every scene to have its own charm and personality, and every book to feel like a thoughtfully created little world.

Here’s what goes into our creative process:

• Every scene is created from scratch: We carefully develop each composition, paying attention to poses, perspective, objects, and small details. We want every scene to feel natural, make sense, and offer something different from page to page.
• A thoughtful balance of scenes and detail: We plan each book as a whole, with a mix of simple scenes and more detailed coloring pages. This variety keeps the coloring experience interesting, whether you’re in the mood for something simple and relaxing or a little more involved.
• Room for your own creativity: We intentionally leave space for you to make each coloring page your own. You can keep things simple or experiment with shading, textures, patterns, and even add little details of your own.
• Consistent, familiar characters: We pay close attention to our characters’ features, expressions, and proportions, making sure they remain recognizable throughout the book. We want them to feel like familiar little friends you get to know along the way.

All of this takes time, which is why our new coloring books don’t come out as quickly as they might otherwise. And we’re perfectly happy with that.

For us, it’s not about creating as many pages as possible. It’s about creating coloring pages with character, care, and little stories that make you want to pick up your favorite colors and bring them to life.
